T.L. Mack-Piccone articles

TL Mack-Piccone is an independent scholar, former adjunct professor, and more recently, a labor organizer with SEIU Local 200United in New York State.  As a former contingent academic, she understands from first-hand experience the plight of adjunct faculty and chose to join the Service Employees International Union as an organizer to fight for adjunct professors’ rights, protections and dignity in the American university system.

She is committed to research, writing, public action, and organizing to resist the exploitation of not only her adjunct colleagues and students, but all workers in New York State and the nation. For more information about adjuncts’ fight for equity in New York and elsewhere, go to www.adjunctaction.org, contact her at tmack@local200united.org, or follow her on Twitter @tmackenglish.
