Kleptocracy Fully in Charge

Sadly not a surprise, the latest New York Times article adds details to what we already knew and suspected. We ignored this, and focused on his opponent’s missing emails? Woe unto us as a nation for our shortsightedness.

Too many American people have been scammed by a ConMan and his family, enough to get him elected with our electoral politics, and our system of education that has failed us. Sadly, no surprise from a family with a multigenerational history of avoiding service.

The bamboozled supporters of the current president are patsies to an alleged criminal manipulator who played to their fears, anger, hatreds, and ambitions. He raised the “fear of the other”, and told the “big lies” enough times to make it believe it, tactics right out of the Mein Kampf play book, the kind that James Madison warned us about when the country was founded.

At least Adolf Hitler had the “decency“ to use these heinous, evil, and deplorable strategies for his country, not just enriching his personal pocketbook and those of his cronies. By pulling out of environmental accords and reversing our progress on environmental protections, (for what? short term profit?!?) the current president and his cronies are setting up a headlong and inevitable race to human extinction, not just a genocide of a portion of the population. We may go the way of the dinosaurs and be just a discovery of some future species of explorers.

I am sure people in this time will see my words as extreme and inflammatory, but mark them well, and let future history judge me, should we not reverse this trend.

The kleptocracy is in charge, and they are saddling the country with even more debt to increase their personal wealth at the expense of the nation. Everyone else will have to settle the debt and suffer the consequences.

God save America, and humanity, because this administration certainly isn’t. The Good Lord helps those who help themselves though, so it would be better if a massive wave of voters stood up to be counted to resist and reject this president.

In the meantime, I hope they enjoy their tax cuts on their shiny new private jet airplanes.

About M D Mitchell

M D Mitchell, known by his friends as "Mitch", was born in 1967 and today lives by the ocean in the state of Maine. He served in the Maine Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer, retiring at the rank of Major, and served two tours of duty in Iraq, as well as humanitarian work in Guatemala. He was also a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State, serving in Washington D.C., Brazil, and Guyana. Prior to that, he was the Director of Education at the Wolfe's Neck Farm Foundation, in Freeport, Maine. Mitch was also a classroom teacher who taught U.S. History, and English to speakers of other languages in Maine and Japan. He is passionate about remaining true to the founding ideals of America, the ones written on paper about a "more perfect union", although, sadly, not always as practiced in reality.

This is truth as I see , I recently took my family to the Smokey Mountians in Tennessee and had a environmental discussion with a farmer from Indiana, I brought up the realities of global warming he looked at me in the eyes as If I was insane. Until we can get the truth out like you are doing and people awake from their stupor of ignorance we are doomed! But just like you I plan on telling the truth and dying with my boots on while doing it if that’s what it takes!
