Ethiopian Ethnic Clashes: 18 are killed in Ethiopia after ethnic clashes between the Borana and Garri tribes

Ethnic clashes in Ethiopia kill 18

Ethnic clashes in southern Ethiopia have left 18 dead and scores displaced, the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) reported, but the Ethiopian government told AFP Sunday the situation was under control. The clashes erupted Thursday in an area about a mile (1.6 kilometres) from the Kenyan border.
