Election officials keenly observed the midterm electoral process and felt ready to fish out any suspected case of election malpractice. In an interesting discussion titled “How the Government is Guarding Against 2018 Elections Threat” on PBS Newshour, reporter William Brangham joined Newshour Foreign Affairs Correspondent Nick Schifrin to walk the audience through several types of election hacking. The two also discussed the various forms of election meddling the government is guarding against and what measures were being taken to ensure a smooth 2018 midterm election.
