Solidarity With Minneapolis & Chicago #4thprecinctshutdown

NYC ShutItDown and Millions March NYC called for an emergency demonstration for New York City to stand in solidarity with Minneapolis and Chicago after the horrific killings of two unarmed black youth. On Monday, four white men attacked the #4thprecinctshutdown camp and shot five of its members. It is believed they were white nationalists working in league with the Minneapolis Police Department. On Wednesday, New York responded in solidarity with the camp, Jamar Clark, and all victims of white supremacy and police terror.

People gathered at 6:00 p.m. in Washington Square Park for an open rally and speakout. All in solidarity are welcomed. Then demonstrators took to the streets and inside Macy’s to “shut shit down”. No justice, no peace, screw the police! SCREW WHITE SUPREMACY!!

ANOTHER ARRESTED, outside Union Sq park last night while standing up for their “rights”.

KAMAL, Brother of KALEIF BROWDER, the young teen arrest for “stealing a backpack” and spent 3 years in Rikers Island, 2 of those years in solitary confinement, without ever being charged. Kalief was beaten by other prisoners and guards. He hanged himself after he was released off the 2nd story of his mother’s house with an air conditioner cord.
