67 million watched US presidential debate: Nielsen
More than 67 million people tuned in to see President Barack Obama square off with Mitt Romney in the first debate of 2012, the largest audience in 20 years, ratings agency Nielsen reported Thursday. An estimated 67.2 million people, 46 percent of whom were over age 55, watched the Wednesday night.
