On December 8, 2017, Dr. Delia Ferreira Rubio made her first public U.S. appearance as Chair of the International Board of Directors of Transparency International to a packed room at the Center for International Private Enterprise. Dr. Ferreira Rubio, who assumed the TI role in October, is an internationally recognized political scientist from Argentina.
Dr. Ferreira Rubio shared her vision regarding the global fight against corruption, with a particular focus on countries where major positive developments are unfolding. She also participated in a panel discussion that addressed the top current challenges to anti-corruption measures and innovative new approaches that appear to be working. Among the key questions addressed: Are the recent advancements sustainable?
