Joe Biden warned his supporters Thursday night that President Trump will try to delay the November election. “Mark my words,” the former vice president said, “I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can’t be held.”

Even if Biden is right and Trump wanted to postpone the election — Trump’s campaign flatly denied the president has any desire to do so — the president has no power over when America votes.
