America needs to get ready to fight an embittered and angry Trump presidency for 4 years.
If President Biden cannot keep his promise to Camp LeJeune veterans and their families after signing their law with such fanfare last year, he’s going to crash and burn.
You don’t let your DOJ betray the victims after promising those victims prompt, full justice. That’s like backstabbing your friends.
Camp LeJeune toxic water compensation involves over 100,000 Navy JAG claims at this point. WSJ says the average claim is for $10 million.
Doing the math, if DOJ and the Navy settled with everyone for that amount, it would cost $1 trillion from the Judgement Fund.
This is an easy way to inject stimulus into the economy (outside the federal budget) just as the Fed forces the economy into recession next year.
Only, this stimulus is not just dumping money from a helicopter out to everyone like the COVID relief, but is focused on alleviating many decades of suffering by patriots and their family members.
Biden has to see the Camp LeJeune Justice Act settlement for what it is. His last chance to inject stimulus and prevent a recession in his Election Year.
But he has to pay the victims NOW. Otherwise, say hello to Angry Trump Presidency #2.
