Burkina Faso votes in test for Compaore regime

Voters in Burkina Faso went to the polls on Sunday in legislative and municipal elections seen as a test for the regime of President Blaise Compaore which was almost toppled in a wave of violence 18 months ago. Faced with a still divided opposition in one of the world’s poorest countries.
