Syracuse, N.Y. – Complaints from government watchdog groups about being kept out of a legislative hearing Tuesday were a diversion to stifle discussion on the possible problems with taxpayer-financed campaign contributions, according to Sen. John DeFrancisco, R-Syracuse.
