TD Bank it’s Time to put People Over Profits

Around 60 community activist and native groups held a rally, protest and march in the Bronx’s today outside TD Bank which was followed by a march to Chase Bank both of which are among banks that are financing the Dakota access pipeline.

Activist and community groups call on banks funding the pipeline to divest from the pipeline and invest in alternative energy.

The protest is part of a two week series of protest taking part across the country in support and solidarity with Native American groups that are fighting to stop the pipeline from from being built.
