Our new Democracy Chronicles documentary is looking for some crowdfunded support!
Democracy, elections, and voting at Democracy Chronicles
The Democracy Chronicles documentary “The Design of a Broken System” is already underway as the first interviews have been filmed and our teaser trailer is ready for primetime! We have now launched our Kickstarter campaign to raise the money to complete the film and we are looking for your support to push us over the top!
Take a look at our trailer below, but also make sure to see the bonus footage from our interview with Devin McCarthy of FairVote speaking about the problem of gerrymandering election districts for political gain. Thanks for your help!!!

Democracy Chronicles has been run by Founder and Editor-in-Chief Adrian Tawfik since 2011. He received a B.A. from New School University and is based in New York City where he built DC from the ground up. DC features Adrian’s writing at his Opinion Column but more of his work for the site can be found at his DC profile page. Also, be sure to see his Democracy Meme Graphic image collection by visiting DC’s Flickr page. Our Political Art section is a place where democracy-themed political artists of all kinds make cartoons, poetry, design, graphic art, photography, music, video, drawings, animation, and other original art.
Democracy Chronicles is the product of a network of democracy activists and we are actively looking for creative new contributors to join our team. If you or someone you know is interested in contributing there is no better time than the present. We are expanding and we want to hear from people from all kind of backgrounds and perspectives. Republican or Democrat, in Brooklyn or Bangladesh, we are looking for people who want to get their hands dirty and join the democracy fight. Contact us to get started today.
