Ghana president says democracy deepened with vote dispute

Ghana President John Dramani Mahama told AFP in an interview Friday after the supreme court upheld his 2012 election victory that the emerging nation had passed a major democratic test through its handling of the disputed vote. Mahama was in the interview.

Thanks for your comment. A close election is always trouble and the answer has to be better score keeping and counting methods. This is an area where work in election methods can have a big impact. Many countries in Africa have founded new governments that could really use the knowledge of people who know about election methods. Just like the good people at minguo.info
