Good News for Stephen Miller’s Fascists

We are either going to become mature and possibly eclectic by being and becoming friends with people who look different and act different than us, or we can remain bigoted, shortsighted and intellectually stunted. Many if not the majority of the ICE actions are being taken because Americans are developing a European mindset.

Americans are not having as many kids as they used to and the government isn’t doing anything to help with the burden with the cost of college, healthcare, ect. So if they don’t care, we don’t care. Elon can have as many kids as he want to fill the vacuum. Our country in turn is growing with a beautiful variety of ethnicities. But there is a scare in parts of the white community because of this feature. Some are afraid of white people not being the majority, and others will be.

Not all white people vote Republican, I don’t. There used to be major blocs of Mexican and Middle Eastern citizens who voted Republican at one time, mostly out of religious comparisons equating Catholicism and Muslim practices with Evangelical Christianity. But they are noticing the violence and hatred from the Republican Party towards them. So why, as they say, shoot yourself in the foot? Most people are just trying to blend in.

It’s usually out of rejection that people protest or isolate from others. South Africa has fallen apart or at least looks like it. I think they should have been given more opportunities after the rise of Mandela. But since there was no such planning, integration as well as mutual prosperity suffered.

Our billionaire class doesn’t want to share prosperity with anybody. They just lie in fear and plot their next moves. People become good neighbors when we embrace and cultivate each other instead of filthy lucre alone. “We got to live together”, cries Sly Stone! The small town that Peter Thiele lived in on the coast in South Africa actively gave heil to Hitler, years after the war. So all these great and grandiose cars, rockets and spy ware is all to reignite this reality?

I think it’s great to have a strong moral opinion of one’s self but not at the expense of slighting someone who may be a little different looking than I am. Things are getting cult-like, or should I say death cult like. The evangelical church and the Republican Party have been getting thick as thieves. This alignment is meant to give credence or credibility to the fascists. They as so godly and only slightly murderous.

I have a great friend who made a comment about evangelicals. He said they are good hardworking people but are crazy racist, almost like people of color are a thorn in their side. Stephen Miller is rumored to want to rid the US of 100 million persons of color, so as to make America great again. This racism is ingrained and poisonous. I get that you don’t like change, but how about evolving a little. Sometimes staying too close to the clan promotes, inbreeding and cultural incest. Hey Stephen, others are good as well.

What I suggest to the everyday racist, is this. Try a different restaurant monthly and make it from a people group that you are not familiar with. Living in Chicago, this has been a privilege and a blessing for most of my life. I regularly eat Middle Eastern food and because of it I have developed friendships and life experiences that I would not have had, if not for experimenting or being open to trying something new. The food is tasty and very good for you nutritionally. The fear is always in the unknown, go ahead and live a little. Try something new. Possibly discover a whole universe of culture and imagination that’s waiting to embrace, and be embraced by you!

About Jack Jones

Jack Jones writes for Democracy Chronicles from Chicago’s south suburbs where he grew up. He is a union electrician Local 134, certified minister from Berean University, AYSO board member and coach, basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, husband, father and social participant. Jack considers himself a gourmet junk food chef, political writer, musician and likes to contribute to the world around him. A former deacon and chaplain at Cook County Jail in Chicago, he feels that our out-of-control corporate, religious and political environment is to blame for many of the problems in the world today. Jack believes we need to get money out of politics and that the church should take care of people instead of trying to get hypocrites elected to public office.

Thanx, our times are interestingly scary, but we should show no fear. We are on the right side, of history and story. Staying vigilant is the focus and let the light of compassion and justice be evident for all to see.

Well, said Jack! The best cure for racism is travel. That works well for the 99.9% of us who aren’t obsessed with world domination. for that .1%, they just need to be arrested and convicted of the crimes they’ve committed.
