A lot of Hillary supporters seem to believe that the election is already over and that she has it in the bag. The “liberal” media certainly seems to think so. At least that’s the narrative they’re promulgating. But i wouldn’t be too sure if I was them. Just like they’ve been poo pooing Trump’s chances since day one and then been shocked at how well he’s done, I think they are in for a real surprise come November.
Don’t be lulled into a false sense of security. Trump supporters/Hillary haters (like my father) will find a way to justify anything he says or does no matter how outrageous it may sound to liberal ears. Just as Hillary supporters/Trump haters will do for her.
And as Michael Moore wrote on his website recently, “In 2012, Mitt Romney lost by 64 electoral votes. Add up the electoral votes cast by Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. It’s 64. All Trump needs to do to win is to carry, as he’s expected to do, the swath of traditional red states from Idaho to Georgia (states that’ll never vote for Hillary Clinton), and then he just needs these four rust belt states. He doesn’t need Florida. He doesn’t need Colorado or Virginia. Just Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. And that will put him over the top. This is how it will happen in November.”
Apparently, Hillary is leading in Michigan polls at the moment but we’ve seen polls be spectacularly wrong already during this election cycle. And the election is still three months away. All I’m saying is, don’t get too comfortable or you might be in for the shock of your life.
