EFF – Saudi Arabia: Expanding anti-blasphemy laws to social media content Saudi Arabia is considering updated regulations that criminalize insulting Islam. Saudi news outlet Al-Watan reported that the appointed Shura Council will study the potential for new laws to “combat the criticism”.
