On his show Wednesday night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart lampooned the “corrupt abuse of power” occurring in his home state of New Jersey. Following the death of New Jersey’s Sen. Frank Lautenburg (D), Gov. Chris Christie had the option of either holding a special election in October.
