The mainstream media tries to dictate to us what we should think, what problems we should care about, and worst of all, give us a less than perfect (and far from holistic) representation of what choices of opinion we have on almost every matter under the sun. You know what we say? When the establishment made by the generations who don’t try to understand us and the media that tries to dictate our lives and our choices wont give us anything else, it’s time to do it ourselves. Next Generation News Junkies is a place we can attempt to do this. It’s about opinions on politics, social stuff…anything really that pertains to our generation and how we feel about it all. Meanwhile there’s a bit of humor to go along with it to keep the dry stuff a bit more fluid. Take Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Weekend Update, put them in a blender and add a bit of Mandela, and you have- The Next Generation News Junkies.
