From the latest article on Ballot Access News by Richard Winger:
The New Jersey Constitution Party has successfully placed Matt Riccardi on the New Jersey ballot for Governor, for the November 2017 election. This is the first time in the party’s history that it has had a nominee on the ballot for that office. Here is the party’s web page. However, because the candidate didn’t submit a letter from the state officers of the party, permitting him to use the party’s name as his ballot label, he will be on the ballot as “Putting NJ First.”
More about Matt Riccardi can be found on his website:
Born and raised in Union City, NJ, Matt is a product of the so called School of Hard Knocks. Upon Honorable Discharge from the service he enrolled at Brookdale Community College in Monmouth County, NJ and went on to achieve extraordinary academic success including a near perfect GPA and roughly 20 awards for academic excellence.
He was a leading member of the International Honor Society and the White House Youth Round Table. He also worked to raise thousands of dollars through various benefits for Haiti Relief, the Darfur Genocide, Breast, Ovarian and Childhood Cancers among several others. Matt took his success to the Ivy League at the University of Pennsylvania. After leaving school to run a business and raise his infant son, Matt became a Christian and has devoted his life to Jesus Christ.
He is now an active member and teacher at Colts Neck Community Church where he and his dedicated and beautiful wife Ashley and their three children attend. He recently returned to school to finish his degree at Hofstra University and has been awarded several honors including the International History Honors Society. He was recently accepted to both the Law & Business schools where he will not attend until he is done serving NJ.
