The New York Times published a video titled about the efforts of a North Dakota tribe that has been fighting to help its members vote against a flurry of barriers. As the 2018 midterm elections draw closer, it seems every individual in the United State is fighting to make their voices heard.
It is especially outrageous for Native Americans to still have to fight to prove residency despite being the only Americans whose ancestors were born and raised on this land for millenium. The tribes are scrambling to complying with restrictive voter ID law in order to get their voices heard and cast ballots for the crucial senate elections.
