The Media and Campaigns
A critical point of the campaign process to win by all necessary means is the development of themes which it is called the campaign strategy. The plausibility of such themes however is critically important to candidate’s success. A fact, unless the challenger can raise enough expectations in front of the voters against the currently player; the one who is already there and the one who has a visibility position to create amazing miracles during those presidential campaigns.President Obama has done just that. Using his constitutional executive powers he has limited drastically the challenger’s visibility where an issue has been so controversial such as immigration law or the same-sex marriage debate
On Friday, in the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, President Obama appears to carry that campaign strategy to the affect election outcome in front of the Republican nominee Romney who, now, so desperately to get Hispanic voters, has been cut off by such combination punches of Obama’s message. No other officeholder in the United States has the same visibility of power; name of recognition, prestige, and opportunity to make such bold decision to American people on the issue of immigration than President Obama himself. He seems effective in the center of the voters and ahead of the games. Already making history already on the cause of sex marriage, a controversial issue among the puritans of America’s conscience, he appears to emerge indeed as a proactive mind that now many American voters can see this president is talking business and he is very serious to American recognizing that America is not a campaign for a solo race but rather for many of us.
It has happened during Bush’s opponent in 1992, Bill Clinton, selected a typical campaign strategy that kicked Bush’s probability to zero. What Clinton did he challenged Bush’s effectiveness and convinced the American voters that his leadership and position in issues would be more effective. In those months of teeth-and-tongue campaign the ability of Bush before this young man from Arkansas shadowed miserably Bush’s campaign with such records, giving the American voters a clear path to their final decision if they wanted again Bush as their president. By the middle of 1992 Bush was struggling, saying many things that sound trivial, overwritten, and almost senseless. In front of this, we have a nation trembling with so many vulnerable issues and many Americans were angry. On top of it, the American economy was weak from inside out while China had started biting America’s flesh. Facing a paramount of considerable criticism for focusing on foreign policy rather than on a number of important domestic issues, Clinton’s campaign strategy crushed Bush’s blindness that he was unable to see what really was going on American soil.
Of course, Obama’s campaign shines an appeal of his record of successful campaigns as a good hitter. Along with his consults and effective managers of campaigns, he seems aware there must be a change. As a president in front of the most dramatized episodes of immigration and the past economy nightmares, his campaign strategy team has pressed the bottom again and 20 million illegal aliens living in United States he has sent a message to them to see after all this country is a nation of opportunity, and is a nation of dreams, which it intensifies why we have so many browns and individuals who are ready to give their life for this country.
This evidence, this bold step, regarding to the temporary ‘stop-gap measure’ of his policy, is a clear impact of changing; and for other highly visible public agendas as same-sex marriage and other issues, that is there a hope indeed for all of us.
