Daniel Klaidman apparently doesn’t see the contradiction with the conclusion of his tale on Obama’s alleged push for NSA reform. Remember back in May 2012, when Daniel Klaidman (and the NYT), rolled out. New York Times and Guardian editorials say Edward Snowden deserves clemency. Both the New York Times and U.K. paper the Guardian published editorials on New Year’s Day calling for clemency for NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. The publications said that Snowden’s revelations may have revealed some state secrets.
