Submit Your Questions for Documentary

Dear DC readers,

Democracy Chronicles seeking video or audio of people asking questions about American elections for our upcoming documentary about election reform.  We intend to use this user-generated content to put together a short trailer for the documentary that will be used to gather financial support for the project through crowd funding on Kickstarter. Use whatever you have, your camera, smartphone or computer, to record yourself and your friends asking questions about our elections, our politicians and our democracy. Why does registering to vote have to be so difficult? How can money be removed from politics?

We have just begun the process of creating an interview-based documentary advocating election reform in New York. Democracy Chronicles is pairing with a video production unit run by Democracy Chronicles writer and film director John Amaruso in order to build support for reforming our elections.  Questions for Democracy Documentary

We want to engage the community especially young voters on this issue. Across the US there is a push for election reform and we are interested in promoting the effort by encouraging discussion on the complex challenges ahead.

Most of the film will feature captivating and professional one-on-one video interviews with the relevant actors.  We already have several sitting politicians who have sign-up for video interviews for this project as well as democracy campaigners and activists.

We would be eternally grateful if you could participate. Please let us know if you are available and would like to participate or if you would like more information on the project. Thank you very much for all of your help.
