Democracy Chronicles crowdfunding drive for our documentary is underway. We have been doing amazing well with our Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to support the film “The Design of a Broken System” and we need all the help we can get from our friends, family, readers, and the community at large to successfully reach out target.

The documentary is being filmed by director and longtime Democracy Chronicles contributor John Amaruso and coupled with his unique style of filming, will help release the pent up frustration of millions of Americans whose most basic demand of their government is a system based on free and fair elections.

Production of the documentary has already begun and some really interesting footage is already in our hands that has the making of an amazing film. We have filmed marching, protesting, and as much of the imaginative sloganeering and protest signs that we could. We also have amazing interviews with politicians, activists, protesters and activists including a song about money in elections from a very nice guitar playing protester at Occupy Wall Street’s second anniversary marches! We have really interviewed some really interesting players in the drama that is national election reform.

Only by working together as a community can we exact the change we want. But working together means reaching across barriers and finding new ways to spread the message of democracy in America. We are hoping to get support from people like you who are interested in joining this fight.
