With the onset of what he called “Fiscal Cliffmas” season upon us, Stephen Colbert advised his audience on Tuesday to settle in for the long haul. “I don’t want to talk about the ‘Fiscal Cliff,’ and you don’t want to hear about it,” he conceded.
On his show Tuesday night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart reviewed the controversy in Michigan over a new union busting law. Stewart observed that Republican Gov. Rick Snyder had described “right-to-work” laws as a “divisive” issue nearly a year ago, yet publicly supported the law this month.
