On Monday October 29, 2012 the Supreme Court of the United States is expected release opinions in several cases. Two cases which stand out, due to the November 6, 2012 elections looming, are cases pertaining to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. In 2006 the Act, established in 1965, was extended.
