If the rest of the world feels this way I know I’m not crazy.

The Scots yelled “No Trump, No KKK, No Racist USA.”

There were shirts in Scotland that read “Lee Harvey Oswald, where are you when your country needs you”.

While 10,000 March in Edinburgh, they even have snipers placed in towers in a golf course to try to squelch the uprising and protect Mr. Trump if necessary. This is the response to him playing a round of golf at one of his premier luxury golf courses at Turnberry on the western coast.

Scottish politicians also complained about the price of security for Mr. Trump and are trying to recoup some of the cost from the British.

This is the answer. This is how we need to respond to our corrupt and fascist form of government. We need to keep up the pressure until they break or break down.

Our country is a more miserable place to live in because of greed. We now have corruption at a level where our government and ruling class only want to screw us over and may sell us out to Russia. Our only response must be radical protest, incessant demonstration, and outward vocalization of righteous anger until we get our achieved end.

The Scots know a thing or two about long struggles against tyranny. They are showing us how to do it.

About Jack Jones

Jack Jones writes for Democracy Chronicles from Chicago’s south suburbs where he grew up. He is a union electrician Local 134, certified minister from Berean University, AYSO board member and coach, basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, husband, father and social participant. Jack considers himself a gourmet junk food chef, political writer, musician and likes to contribute to the world around him. A former deacon and chaplain at Cook County Jail in Chicago, he feels that our out-of-control corporate, religious and political environment is to blame for many of the problems in the world today. Jack believes we need to get money out of politics and that the church should take care of people instead of trying to get hypocrites elected to public office.
