Iran leader wants nuclear deal within months

AFP – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani wants to reach an agreement over the country’s nuclear program within three months and has full backing to broker a deal from the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, it was reported Wednesday.

A senior Iranian official welcomed the “moderate and respectful tone” of US President Barack Obama’s speech to the UN General Assembly, as newspapers hailed a new path for the Islamic republic. “It seems a new climate has been created”.
