South Carolina’s latest proposals have created worries among many that voting rights under siege. At Democracy Chronicles, voting rights are considered sacrosanct. All Americans who wish to vote should be able to do so easily. Recently, in some states, voter ID laws have been altered and now require a voter to show photo identification to vote. In and of itself this type of requirement is not unreasonable.
