Here is the headline from The Atlantic that shocked me: “Trump Floats the Idea of Executing Joint Chiefs Chairman Milley“. Have we gotten to the place where heroes should be executed and the perpetrators are set free? What are we becoming? And what will be the result of this type of mob action?

I’m so very impressed with the responsible decisions of Joint Chief General Mark Milley. He had the courage and foresight to do the responsible thing. The prudent and honorable actions that allowed our country to remain and be a democracy, against the wishes, suggestions and demands of many corrupt players around him.

Make no mistake, Milley saved our country from falling from grace and becoming an autocracy. We came that close and yet today we’re letting past and present politicians demand his demise for doing right. He protected the Constitution, diverted possible nuclear war and assured the proper transfer of power to the rightly elected top public official in the country.

That’s exactly what you want, even if you voted for the other party, or don’t believe in the same political views as President Biden. It doesn’t matter at the end of the day, we must, should and remain a democracy! I don’t care what your motivations are, how bad you wanted Trump to win or what you think is at stake. At the end of the day, if we remain a democracy, all else will work its way out.

I believe in free speech, so did Charles Manson, but we put him in jail for being a cult leader that influenced a group of young people in California to murder innocent people, to bring about his “end of the world” plans. Something about this situation reminds me of him.

The big fish who orchestrated the Jan 6th riot are again launching a preemptive strike against those who can get in the way of their desired outcome and to shield of liability and just punishments. Their sharpest weapons are unjust media finger pointing and accusation.

If left unchecked, these far right partisan actors are dragging our lives and futures into the abyss. Nothing good can come from these motivations but more political zealotry, bigotry and hate. It’s time to cleanse this nation and start anew with rational minds as well as intentions. Let’s not let this divisive rhetoric destroy what we have and what we can achieve.

General Mark Milley, had the right vision, courage and fortitude, to keep us on the correct track, path and course. To ensure our democracy’s future and existence. Let’s come together, to celebrate and laud his efforts, even if in opposition we must bear false accusations being made to our good names too!
