What Will Happen If Australian Prime Minister Quits Position?
Malcolm Turnbull – Caricature | Malcolm Bligh Turnbull , aka Malcolm Turnbull, is the 29th Prime Minister of Australia and Leader of the Liberal Party.

Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has threatened resignation because of a political crisis that led to the shutting down of parliament by the ruling Liberal Party after Turnbull lost support from key cabinet members. VOA has the story here.

The turmoil within the party has seen power swinging from Turnbull to former political allies within his party and cabinet. Waning support from Senator Cormann and Peter Dutton who resigned from the position of Home Affairs Minister constitute the biggest threat to Turnbull’s position. Dutton appears to be a strong candidate for replacing Turnbull. ABC news has made an extensive analysis of the political situation in the Australian Parliament, hinting on what will happen next.
