Zimbabweans brave cold to vote in large numbers
AFP – Wrapped in blankets, Zimbabweans braved chilly weather Wednesday and turned up in droves to vote in a fiercely contested presidential election. Voters started lining up outside polling stations in the darkness of winter, hours before voting opened. Zimbabweans wait to cast their votes in presidential and parliamentary elections in Harare, Wednesday, July, 31. One enormous and largely invisible voter cohort that will not be represented are the some 4 million Zimbabwe refugees.
