The Most Tumultuous 100 Days In The White House Ever

Beginning 100 days

Saturday April 29th, 2017, marked the 100th day of The Trump’s Presidency and, although his base is still backing him up, it has been a very tumultuous time in America and around the world. This President’s approval rating is, 44%, the lowest any American President has had, around this period in their first 100 days in office. As a consequence of the drama, misconduct and the so eventful first 100 days, many of the policies that Mr. Trump has tried to enact have been either stopped by a higher court or have been delayed or voted down by congress.

No good policies but a lot more Executive orders

On the other hand, to make things more complicated, he took policies that already existed and decided to change them by adding other reinforcements to them and then started enforcing these in drastic ways. Making these policies hard to carry out by many governors and law enforcement in different cities. For example, The Immigration Act. These have had a tremendous impact on our immigration population and enforcers of these, like ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and on what Trump labeled Sanctuary Cities such as California. These are cities that, according to Trump, choose to not enforce the immigration laws.

However, governors of these so called Sanctuaries have said that they follow the law but they won’t break up families. Also, the way the law mandates deportation is inhumane and there’s trouble brewing in these cities with federal funding. Now, that’s inhumane! Lack of funding means no social programs.

An eye on us

The way the world looks at us now, it’s not good!

The Presidency of the United States has been crushed to pieces and it has become a mockery. Not only for comedians but for the tabloids. This was noted at the Correspondent’s Dinner by the comedy of Hassan Minhaj, a Muslim American, speaking about the First amendment right. According to many the way we stand around the world today is shameful. It’s incomprehensible because the backlash and criticism that the President and The White House receives is due to the negative conduct of the President himself. An American President carrying on this way is inconceivable! Things are not as they seemed and they have gone from bad to worse. Sometimes, what we think is happening might just be propaganda, untruths, coming out of the White House and the real true story is going on behind the scenes.

This is the world, today, according to Trump, ” is very messed up but I am going to fix it”. It was not so when Obama left!

On the other hand, Trump is Trump and he wants to be in total control, he came in to the Presidency destroying what another American President worked so hard to achieved. Even, knowing that doing all of this destruction would have repercussions, he continues with revamping the system, as though everything that Obama did was completely wrong. There are going to be terrible consequences to pay and the danger in all of this is that the American people are going to suffer.

Trump could have made things so much different and better by adding to what was already started by Obama’s administration. For example The Affordable Care Act could have been worked at instead of trying to repeal it. By making things better and not repealing them, he would have gained so much respect from Americans. He would probably be enjoying high approval ratings. After all, he suppose to be the President for all the people, not just for his supporters. Had he taken that route, many more supporters and non-supporters would have approved.

When is Mr. Trump going to understand that he can not take on all America’s problems by himself? That’s why The American President has access to so many advisers, to other Presidents, to sophisticated technology, high grade equipment and the best armed forces in the world. Use these resources Mr. President! Use your community of aides and advisers!

The following are our standings and associations with some of the most difficult countries to make a deal with based on the way Trump conducts business.

The Wall and who’s paying for it

Trump’s campaign promise that Mexico will pay for the wall but Peña Nieto has stated in many different ways, “We are not paying for the wall” in the United States. And again, he said in Spanish, “No vamos a pagar por el muro de los Estados Unidos”, and Presidente Nieto is very firmed about this, however, Trump keeps selling this idea to the American people and although it seems irrational, his base is still supporting and believing in him.

Yet, since the beginning, Peña Nieto has repeatedly said; “I regret and reject the decision of the United States to continue building a wall that, that for years, far from uniting us, divides us,” Pena Nieto said in a taped message to ABC News on January 26, 2017.

100 Days In The White House
Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico – link

At this time, no wall is being built and it does not seem like it’s going to be build in a near future because not only Nieto is not paying for the Wall but it’s going to be hard for Congress to approve over $20 billion dollars. It’s a lot of money and it will increase the national debt incredibly.

So far, the relations between Mexico and the U.S. are very tense and according to The Daily Beast, “Mexico’s foreign-affairs secretary had strong words for U.S. President Trump on Tuesday, criticizing his plans for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border as a “bad idea” that will only ruin relations.” “Foreign Affairs Secretary Luis Videgaray reiterated Mexico’s stance that the U.S. should pay for the wall, saying the Mexican side will not pay a dime for it.”

Nieto is also appalled by the immigration shake up that Trump has stirred against his people. ICE is not just deporting criminals, they are also deporting DACA recipients and others that have been in this country for years. This is breaking up families and some of these families have American born children. Like in the case of Maribel Trujillo, who was detained in a center to be deported to Mexico without due process and has four American born children or like the case of Juan Manuel Montes, a student who is a DACA recipient.

Juan was stopped and deported without being given a fair chance to call a lawyer. He has been in this country since nine years old and has no home in Mexico. Where will he go in a city that is strange to him? This is traumatizing for anyone! All of this has been done to people that are our allies. Our Mexican neighbors! Will these two countries become the symbol of what was the Soviet Union? Like President Reagan said to Mikhal Gorvachev in June 12,1987, “Tear down this wall!” We don’t need devision, we need to be United!

What about relations with China?

Trump is finding common ground with China these days as the threat of North Korea gets more and more out of control. The Chinese government has the power to halt tensions between the U.S. and N. Korea. They can employ sanctions to pressure Kim Jong- Un, the vicious Dictator of North Korea, to disarm. Trump is putting all of his eggs in one basket and that basket is China. Trump believes that China can obtain peace in North Korea by sanctioning Kim Jong-Un and maybe he is on to something here. Who cares how peace is obtained as long as it is! Who knows, this might work! So far, however, it is all pending, depending on the pressure they put on Jong-Un.

According to CNN, “Trump’s policy reversal on China sends a signal to global finance chiefs ahead of next week’s meeting in Washington, D.C., that Trump could soften the aggressive trade positions he staked out during his campaign.” This would be solely for China to take care of North Korea.”

Xi Jinping- China’s President and Trump have established a close relationship. Trump said that Xi taught him a thing or two about American History. Really? This is very embarrassing! Xi came to attend a meeting with Trump at his Mar-a-lago Club, Trump chose that occasion to talk about the North Korean threat.

At that meeting, he requested China to aide in the North Korean disarmament of nuclear weapons. Trump said that he hopes that China does the right thing by sanctioning North Korea and therefore, pressuring the disarmament. So far, all of this has been pending and the fear of explosive nuclear weapons still exist and Kim Jong-Un is getting more dangerous by the minute.

While China cautioned Trump on North Korea and asked for a peaceful resolution. Trump is sending aircraft carriers strike groups to waters off Korean Peninsula and this has caused fear that Trump might heighten the conflict with North Korea. Certainly a very tense era in history!

Some Advice to Trump: Mr. Trump if China can’t help with resolutions, call on Dennis Rodman. He is Kim Jong-Un bestie!

North Korea and Kim Jong-un

Jong-Un is a brutal dictator known for even being a suspect in the killing of his half brother and now he is threatening the United States with Nuclear Weapons of mass destruction. He is not only causing fear in South Korea but around the world!

South Korea is North Korea’s neighbor and Kim Jong-Un has The South Korean people in a hostage situation because he is a mad dictator, who only sees the world around him. He does not care about others or has any compassion for human life.

This has been shown by the various vicious acts against others including a former fiancée and her entire family. He publicly send to kill her and jailed the rest of her family and eventually treated them so badly that they ended up dying in jail.

And now, as Jong-Un acclimates to the new U.S. Administration, he wants to show how powerful he is and show off the available resources that he has, at his disposal, in order to challenge and intimidate other countries.

Recently, there have been two major holiday celebrations and Jong-Un has used these to parade military weapons, including nuclear warheads, for all to see. One of the celebrations was for Kim II Sung’s Birthday, 15th of April, where they parade their entire army of soldiers and weapons for all the world to see in Sung’s memory. This day is also called “The Day of the Sun”.

Another important celebration is April 25th, Foundation Day of the Korean Army, on this day they do similar things during the parade. This year these have had significant impact on the U. S. because Jong-Un has used these parades to show off the country’s artillery and to threatened.

The New York Times noted that Trump is using what they called, the “madman theory” and this is keeping Jong-Un in an unsettled state. not knowing what Trump has up his sleeves next. The Times further commented that Trump, like no other President, said; “There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea,” he said to Reuters during a round of his 100-days-in office commemorations.“

Trump is depending on China to help with sanctions against Kim Jong-Un, in order to have this out of control dictator, to stop firing these missiles and push him to get rid of these weapons of mass destruction and stop making nuclear weapons. China asked for peace, as they are trying to be more diplomatic. Yet, Jong-Un is still actively preparing for a so called war.

We have no relationship with North Korea at this time and both leaders, Jong-Un and Trump, have very volatile characters and are very impulsive not taking into consideration that words really matter. Any said negative word, can trigger a major event. This can cause major loss of lives in Seoul, South Korea because of the proximity to North Korea.

As we stand today, there are rumors of war! Jong-Un fired a missile today, April 29th, according to CNN. He also send a propaganda video that shows the White House being blown away! Which is causing more of an uproar in this situation. We have no idea what this is going to trigger but hopefully, China as the grown-up in this situation, will intercede and stop a major world disaster from happening.

Executive orders

There are also many Executive Orders signed into existence and many of those orders have caused lots of opposition and push back by political groups, activists and politicians. At times, many protesters have suffered injuries as a consequence of pushback activities and by protest against some of these ludicrous policies and orders. Some of these executive orders as reported by FOX News are:

*An order reversing some Obama-era offshore drilling restrictions and ordering a review of limits on drilling locations.

*A memo ordering an investigation into whether aluminum imports are hurting national security.

*An order directing a review of national monument designations under prior administrations.

*An order and two memoranda empowering Treasury Secretary Mnuchin to move toward tax reform and end portions of the Dodd-Frank financial reform.

*A revised order suspending the refugee program and entry to the U.S. for travelers from several mostly Muslim countries, in response to objections from courts. As before, the order will suspend refugee entries for 120 days, but doesn’t suspend Syrian refugees indefinitely and no longer includes Iraq in the named countries. In signing this order, the original one was revoked.

*Two multi-pronged orders on border security and immigration enforcement including: the authorization of a U.S.-Mexico border wall; the stripping of federal grant money to sanctuary cities; hiring 5,000 more Border Patrol agents; ending “catch-and-release” policies for illegal immigrants; and reinstating local and state immigration enforcement partnerships.

There are at least 22 or more simple executive orders and some of these have been placed on hold or have been contested in an appeals court. However, these orders did not need congressional approval.

It has been reported by media outlets that Trump’s biggest accomplishment, during his first 100 days in office, has been the confirmation of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Gorsuch precedes Justice Scalia, who unexpectedly passed away last year. He is expected to be there for a lifetime and way after Trump’s Presidency ends.

Following the inauguration, attacks of deception started forthcoming.

The world inaugurated the so called 45th President of the United States on January 20th. It seems like as soon as the inauguration took place, the one that was chosen to be the leader of the free world, started suffering from ‘deceptive attack practices’. These attacks are apparent on a daily basis and by the way Shawn Spicer, Secretary of Communications, not only shows deception when he is giving press conferences but it also shows that he can’t even believe what’s coming out of his own mouth. He looks puzzled and perplexed when answering questions pertaining to the President and what’s going on in the White House.

Trump’s 100th day old administration is the worse in American history and also the only administration that has such close ties to Russia. Beginning with Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Page Carter, Rex Tillerson and Jared Kushner just to name a few. They have all had contact with Russian officials and all have denied or hide these contacts. There are several investigations going on concerning the Russian interference in our elections. And so, the drama continues coming out of the White House.

Trump has encouraged a dangerous situation with North Korea and is about to discover how powerful words can be when they go in ears that take things the way they should be taken from a President, literally.

At this time, Kim Jong-Un is not backing down. Jong-Un seems to be fixed on challenging the new U.S. President and the President is fixed on taking the bait. Trump went on to twitter and said how Jong-Un disrespected China’s President. We can only guess that this is Trump’s attempt to desperately engage China into this battle against the United States. He knows that China has much more control over N. Korea, more so than the U.S., because of significant financial ties between the two countries.

And so, Trump’s 100 days in power seemed to be heading into more difficult territory. Many of his campaign promises, that all of his base wanted fulfilled, have gone under the table; however, Trump says that’s for now he is going to keep working to get rid of ACÁ or (Affordable Care Act ) until It has been repealed. He is also working on building the Wall. This is going to be more likely without the backing of Mexico. It is going to be from tax payers money as the President of Mexico, Peña Nieto, flatly opposes to pay for it.

When we look at the overall picture, it seems like this President has failed to deliver campaign promises, although, Republicans are in control. Trump has become his own opposition! This is so by the way he talks, the way he meets challenges, how quickly he gives in and the way he tweets. He really does not use the “Art of the Deal”!

Trump needs to use more diplomacy, as it pertains to dealing with other country leaders. He also needs to stop tweeting! It’s going to make life easier for him, while in the White House, since no tweeting means the drama will cut down drastically allowing him more time to work and to get more things done. Defending his own position because of a tweet, every other day, it’s not worth it! Stop the madness, accept Our Democracy and get on with governing!
