Of America’s 50 states 18 have made voting harder this year. This may not be up to half the number of states but it is an alarmingly high number of states that are building anti-democratic practices into the fabric of American society. Those laws were enacted in Arizona, Iowa, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas and Utah, the center found.
