All CVS Political Donations Have Stopped. But is That a Solution? This Press Release is by End Citizens United:

End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on CVS’s announcement that it would temporarily pause PAC donations to both political parties in reaction to pressure from ECU to stop donating to members of Congress who helped incite the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6:

“CVS’s announcement is insufficient and counterproductive. It is making a dangerous false equivalency that allows Republicans who tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election to escape accountability. It also does nothing to change CVS’s role in underwriting the assault on our democracy. These 147 Republicans, many of whom CVS donated to heavily, voted to overturn the election and spread misinformation, helping to incite the violent and deadly assault on our Capitol. CVS should only stop donations to these lawmakers and demand refunds for prior contributions.”
