Amnesty urges Jordan to free political activists

AFP – Amnesty International on Saturday urged Jordan to free six political activists charged with insulting King Abdullah II, saying that at least three of them were beaten during interrogation. The human rights watchdog “is calling for the immediate and unconditional release of six pro-reform activists.

    I like their activities, and I believe they are good people, but I think they should have had much stronger influence.
    I live in Egypt, where there are so many inhuman activities by the government against political activists, but Amnesty is in nowhere to help, and many people are not even aware of something called Amnesty International

      Amnesty is a very valuable organization and it is certain that they work in Egypt as well. I suggest you look at their website if you are interested in human rights. There should be more organizations that focus on human rights of all people.
