Media pressure on China’s dictatorship could help political prisoners in jails

Activist Chen encourages media to probe China

AFP – Chen Guangcheng, the Chinese activist who dramatically escaped house arrest last year, said foreign media had a critical impact in his country and urged them to keep up their coverage. In an address inside the Washington National Cathedral, the blind self-taught lawyer reiterated his conviction.
