Sent from my iPhone because our libraries are closed because our politicians are financed by corporate PACs and lobbyists to maximize shareholder profit
You may be thinking to yourself right now, “All politicians do is ask for money!” This fact may never change but I have taken the first step towards creating a different Washington by refusing to accept PAC, special interest, or lobbyist money. Early on I asked my opponent to do the same but she refused. As my staff and I have learned, challenging the status quo is not easy but I have stood by my word to run a grassroots campaign start to finish without letting big corporate money influence my decisions.
My priority is to give you a voice in our government. I want to work towards a more efficient and responsive government for the people, where your needs are heard and met. I believe in working for you without letting money influence my policies or decisions. When I am elected to be the Democratic nominee for New York’s District 7 on June 24th I will have you to thank!
Because I am not accepting any corporate money to fund my campaign I need your help in my path to victory.Tonight at midnight is the FEC pre-primary report-filing deadline and we still need to meet our goal of $8,725. If you donate, know that your help will go towards campaign literature, online & print advertising, and rally signs leading up to the last weeks of our campaign. It is crucial that we raise the funds needed to continue as a competitive candidate in the race.
Hope you’ve had an awesome Sunday. Thanks for your support. Just a couple weeks now until the June 24 election. When I win, people will ask how did he beat the corporate funded machine? The answer will be you – our volunteers. Thank you for your hard work.
