Don’t Do the Daley Clan in Chicago Again

Bill Daley, candidate in the 2019 Chicago mayoral election, is said to be the smart Daley, the way Jeb Bush was assumed to be the smart Bush. Good grief.

Bill Daley was Chief of Staff in the Obama Administration as well as the Secretary of Commerce during the Clinton Administration. He previously served as the Midwest Chairman of JP Morgan Chase, as well as serving on the Board of Directors at Boeing, Merck & Co., Boston Properties and Loyola University where he received his bachelor’s degree. Currently he’s a trustee at Northwestern University and a member of the influential Council of Foreign Relations. And there’s more to a very impressive resume but that’s should give you an idea.

Also you might want to include that his father, Richard J. Daley, was the longest-serving Chicago mayor ever, serving from 1955 to 1976. That record was beaten by Bill’s brother, Richard M. Daley, who ran the city from 1989 to 2011.

Daley is part of the problem. He is a known member of the Third Way, the right wing, neo-liberal faction of the already too-Republican Democratic Party. They are known to privatize municipal assets like parking meters, water, sanitary districts which take money making opportunities away from local government and puts them in the pockets of corporations. Corporations typically abuse this form of capitalism and gouge the consumer way more than government would ever dream.

Bill Daley and Democrat politicians like him, are the reason why our country is in such big trouble! The Democrats have become the Republican Party of fifty years ago and modern Republicans have become extreme fascists if not Nazis. There is no True Democratic Party any more.

I’m sorry for my edgy opinions but I believe this is correct. Bernie Sanders calls himself a there are people who call themselves a Social Democrat or Socialist, like Bernie Sanders, are voting for Democrats. But it’s the Democratic Party’s reliance on people like President Bill Clinton, Bill Daley and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel who have moved the party to the right. Whether it was because of campaign contributions of the banks or a well-intentioned ploy to pick up a couple of conservative votes, these corporate Democrats have abandoned the core values of the Democratic Party voter and their principles. If Democrats like this continue to control the party, we have basically an organization that’s good for nothing but the banks and essentially morally bankrupt!

Again I digress, Bill Daley is running for Mayor of Chicago. He would be the wrong choice.
