Social media allows us at Democracy Chronicles to fully connect with those interested in democracy and allows you to get in touch with us. In modern news, social media bridges the gap between the international and the local and often leads the discussion on key issues like those that functioning democracies require.

The work of those fighting for local democracy worldwide is easier because of their network of international supporters and the two are now connected like never before through the growing use of mobile phones and the internet. People increasingly take advantage of social media as a tool to organize and the advocates behind campaigns for free and fair elections dependent on a free press and an educated population are aware of this. Democracy Chronicles thinks that election advocates promoting their activities on the web and beyond are a critical part of modern government and have been ignored for too long.

These are more than just slogans DC uses to spread the message. We are looking for new volunteers to help!
