Fairness, a recipe for conflict resolution

Fairness, a recipe for conflict resolutionWhat’s best for America, what’s best for Israel, is fairness. Fairness in dialogue and action. I know every country, person, and community wants to look out for its best interests. But what is missing is reputation and slander. Many of us and Israeli adversarial opponents and condemnations have been against our actions and their perceived aggressions. Let’s work toward a common good and goal.

If you want to end hostilities and potential war, we need to come to the table of compromise and agreement. Start with anything that both sides can agree on and build on that. It could be a ceasefire, letting in UN-sanctioned food supplies, or working with Egyptian diplomats to curb future aggression. Do something to promote world peace and trust, so that we have a foundation to build on.

The world doesn’t need more scar tissue, unresolved issues, or vendettas emerging from the psyche of vanquished countries of any stripe. Too often, war and imperialism are used as vehicles of political advancement. Everyone wants to be on the winning side or be recognized for justice in the face of indignity. Until we realize that we all matter, we will not progress.

Everyone is made in the image of a supreme being, so we should learn to respect and honor one another for mutual benefit and long-term tranquility. It’s not just the victor who deserves adulation or should have the ability to dictate terms. In humble humility, we should look out for each other for the benefit of the world, the promise of tolerance, and the hope of a better day. Let our love for one another define our future actions to bring about a better tomorrow that we all want and can cherish.

About Jack Jones

Jack Jones writes for Democracy Chronicles from Chicago’s south suburbs where he grew up. He is a union electrician Local 134, certified minister from Berean University, AYSO board member and coach, basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, husband, father and social participant. Jack considers himself a gourmet junk food chef, political writer, musician and likes to contribute to the world around him. A former deacon and chaplain at Cook County Jail in Chicago, he feels that our out-of-control corporate, religious and political environment is to blame for many of the problems in the world today. Jack believes we need to get money out of politics and that the church should take care of people instead of trying to get hypocrites elected to public office.

I appreciate that C Jones. Many of us including you my guess, have heard the encouragement of sound minded men and women who worked for peace. If there has ever been a time it’s now! I appreciate your agreement for this endeavor.

Looking for a top-notch place in NYC to get your hair done? I think I’ve found just the spot. Recently, I needed a fresh look, so I decided to book an appointment at this fantastic place I heard about. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a stylish, welcoming vibe. The consultation was thorough—the stylist really took the time to understand what I wanted, and even offered some great advice on what would suit my face shape and lifestyle. I ended up getting a cut and highlights, and wow, the results were amazing. My hair has never looked this good! The cut is sharp and modern, and the highlights add a beautiful dimension to my hair. I also loved the attention to detail—the stylist was meticulous, and the products they used made my hair feel incredibly soft and shiny. It’s definitely one of those places you walk out of feeling like a million bucks. If you’re in NYC and want to treat yourself to a great hair day, this place should be at the top of your list. Check them out here: hair salon
