Earlier this year Canada, Australia and even the UK said: “We can elect unpopular leftists…sometimes at the last moment and against the trend lines… to show Trump!” And to their detriment they duly elected unpopular leftie leaders, partly “to show Trump.”

And proudly, as competitive as we are portrayed, we New Yorkers said: “Hold my beer.” Because those foreigners ain’t seen nothin’ in hard left insanity … yet. NYC will show ‘em!”

In a city where the Democrats always win, with no equilibrium, no parameters in place, we can indulge our hard left stupidities. So the next mayoralty is in the bag for Zohran “Kwame” Mamdani.

The Kwame is interesting and he’s proud of it: Kwame Nkruma of Ghana was a hero of “Third World Socialism”, popular in the 1960s and 1970s, which came into power in many countries: China with Mao, Ethiopia (Mengistu), Libya (Gadaffi), India (Nehru), Egypt (Nasser) and literally dozens of later broken nations. Most became the worst places on earth to live in. The horrors were visited upon enough regions and cultures to ONLY conclude that “anti-colonialist” Third Worldism was the cause, the exact mechanism of action, of their suffering, violence and poverty. It ruined and ended tens of millions of lives the lefty media and education systems won’t tell you about.

Comrade Zohran exemplifies Socialist Third Worldism. It and its twin, radical “Black” socialism wrecked the actual Third World as its progenitor, communism, wrecked the “Second World” (USSR, Cuba, North Korea, Albania, etc.)

Hard grown up facts time now

In NYC, Wall Street and the tourist/culture industry pay the bills while our woke warriors and their “resistance” terrorism LARP away.

Wealthy New Yorkers – in terms of Money and IQ – indulge these luxury beliefs. “Luxury beliefs” are writer Rob Henderson’s excellent analysis of elites signaling their moral virtue by destructive (for the poors and proles, not themselves) social policies, rather than days of old when clothes and possessions communicated high status.

Our New York system of actual elites financing the games of the up and coming wannabes with their Luxury Beliefs…. only works to a point and that point is Zohran.

Cards on table: I’ve lived my whole adult life on this little island just off the United States you may have heard of: Manhattan. I grew up in Australia then lived in Japan, but as soon as I could I came to this Colossus on the Hudson and I’ve been here ever since (1995) – working in finance, law and now as a columnist and… a loudmouth: that last qualification being the realest of all NYC talents.

We New Yorkers aren’t strangers to Zohran’s Islamism. In finance I worked in the World Trade Center until 2001… January 2001 (in options trading timing is everything). Further, my degree, lifelong study and column are focused on Islam and the developing world so I’m quite well informed.

Things have changed since 2001 of course. Sadly in our city we have short memories: “Islamoterr..what?” “The World Trade what?”. There weren’t “Pro-Al Qaida” marches in September 2001 on our streets, but today’s tik tok generation (“educated” by Beijing’s Byte Dance) decided Oct. 7 necessitated weekly marches in support of Hamas, basically Al Qaida with a slightly different flag and larger murderer base.

Zoran is the ultimate rich kid playing poverty. His “decolonization” (killing white people and destroying capitalism) is popular with these youngsters educated by tiktok.

We’re used to conmen as well (I thought!), New Yorkers can spot them a “long city block” away: after all – we gave the world Trump. But we never voted for him. Now lately we’ll vote the opposite – Bizarro Commie Trump – out of spite – and like most stories of vengeance we should have dug two graves: one for our enemy and one for ourselves. Zohran’s New York will be that grave.

Like Trump, Zohran lies ALL. THE. TIME. And his supporters don’t care – it’s the narcissism and “owns” they want. His supporters are like MAGAs just with purple hair and dumb pronouns. The psychological similarities are eerie.

I’m not a conservative – I volunteered and worked for Hillary’s election campaign and have voted for and donated Money to only Democrats. But sadly our party has been befouled by a bunch of moral panics and social manias: mostly around race and gender. Zohran doesn’t miss a beat though, promising the most maximalist positions. He’s a trans cult fanatic: mutilating “trans” children… even at taxpayer expense. And race? For Zohran’s crowd they’re living in the 1960s, determined to fight the race wars of that era which were won half a century ago: BLM, raised fists, reparations and all that.

You’d need powerful AI to find more insane, outdated and widely discredited positions he hasn’t backed. And not for clicks or likes: his preferences are long standing and consistently stupid. You’ve got to work hard to be so widely, provably, empirically wrong. That and run against a wildly unpopular, unelectable Cuomo family member.

For there has been a hard-left turn in Democrat politics, driven mainly by the young, single and moreso…. female, as “woke” is deeply female skewed. This isn’t just an opinion, not vibes or feels: it is the facts and the actual demographics, the numbers as per the academic literature.

To advertise their moral purity and virtue signal “tolerance” the woke have collectively allowed the blue haired psychopathic genderwangs (the “be kind” psychopaths) and commie pukes free range. And they’re going to wreck the Big Apple.

So What The Hell Now?

Zohran will probably win. Our 1970s municipal bankruptcy won’t have nuttin’ on an abandoned tax base by the class who pay all the bills here today. Wealthy people WILL leave if you tax them enough.

Wealthy New Yorkers pay more tax than any Americans, and more than nearly all Europeans! Many of the less wealthy will also flee if “Defund the Police” and “Bail Reform” un-imprison criminals and turn all our streets into crime hotspots. The (former defense) attorney in me watches all this with undiluted horror.

Retro-1970s NYC is aesthetically fun but don’t import everything bad about that macramé, pornstache, subway mugger and graffiti era like we are about to.

Our flawed but decent current mayor, Adams, has cracked down on homeless encampments but under Comrade Zoran, hell, do send us your old tents San Francisco, because poo-camp “Palestine” and homeless tent favelas will be sprouting up around Central Park pretty soon.

Imagine Lady Liberty in a big black canvass hijab because time after time… when the left-Islamist alliance conflicts, Islam wins every time (Lebanon, Northern England, Michigan). In the Iranian revolution’s case the communist Tudeh Party aligned with Islamists – after the revolution the Tudeh people were all dead.

Open the prisons! What could go wrong? Free Queer Palestine! (not at all a theocratic, gay beheading Islamist nest of terrorism). This intellectual feces has been excreted in other places many times and it portends ruin for what is, maybe for not much longer, the greatest city on earth.
