Stop Grading Republicans on the Curve

grading Republicans

We keep conceding to the criminal Republican agenda of rigging elections through voter suppression and a litany of illusory tactics tied to false voter fraud claims. In North Carolina, another election scandal has erupted. This time it’s about Mark Harris who was running for a congressional seat in the House of Representatives.

Harris hired a firm called “The Red Dome Group” to go door to door in predominantly blue or Democratic voting areas and collect early voting ballots from the people and turn them in, a practice called ballot harvesting. I feel like Dana Carvey’s “Church Lady” character from Saturday Night Live, “Isn’t that special”. How nice of them to help collect ballots in a Democratic area. Of course, now we know they gathered and counted the votes from these typically Democratic areas where these special helpers were collecting the ballots the results showed a 96% Republican selection.

This action was so obscenely suspicious that the North Carolina election board refused to certify the election. First of all, it’s illegal for a company to do this, only family or caretakers are allowed to turn in early voting ballots for voters in North Carolina!

When are we gonna stop grading Republicans on the curve and throw the full weight of the law against them? It’s like refusing to punish a continually delinquent child when he habitually acts like a bastard! Yes, the Republicans are no good cheating promiscuous whores for their corporate pimps. But with that being said should we continually let them get away with it? I believe the R.I.C.O. act could apply to the majority of these so-called public servants and their repeated election tampering. The importance of action is becoming clearer. If they can’t get it right on the outside, they can learn by turning tricks on the inside!

About Jack Jones

Jack Jones writes for Democracy Chronicles from Chicago’s south suburbs where he grew up. He is a union electrician Local 134, certified minister from Berean University, AYSO board member and coach, basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, husband, father and social participant. Jack considers himself a gourmet junk food chef, political writer, musician and likes to contribute to the world around him. A former deacon and chaplain at Cook County Jail in Chicago, he feels that our out-of-control corporate, religious and political environment is to blame for many of the problems in the world today. Jack believes we need to get money out of politics and that the church should take care of people instead of trying to get hypocrites elected to public office.

Here here! Good piece. Blatant minority voter suppression, felon voter suppression, fishy campaign donations, Supreme Court hi-jinx, and, well, the whole corrupt Republican machine needs to be called to account. That’s before I start on their idiot “Chauncey Gardner” narcissistic Dear Leader. Their conduct is disgraceful.
