I am looking for $10,000 to support my own investigative journalism. By contributing to my campaign you will help me purchase a better camera, tripod, hard drive space, and an external microphone. This will support my work in filming, photographing, investigating, blogging and editing my work on local and global protest, public hearings, events, interviews, press conferences, court proceedings and other actions. Also the funds will help in lining up great guests for my radio show or meeting them in person if necessary such as in prison interviews, etc. For example, would make it more possible for me to interview important people like CIA analyst turned whistleblower John Kiriakou when he was under house arrest after serving his time in prison for exposing the CIA torture program.

I’ve been doing this work on my own for five years now. I’ve nearly exhausted all my savings. I do not want to do anything else. I cannot do anything else. Out in the streets filming the protests and arrests, editing, which is very time consuming and can be very tedious work and I’ve felt the calling all my life and was just never supported. I’ve been advocating for truth and justice all my life. It began early when I learned that many people in power have impunity and do not represent the truth or justice and actually abuse power rather than enforce real justice. I was passionate and studied extensively about the abusive family system as the origin of many of the injustices we experience today.
