Here’s why William Barr should be Barred

I think that America’s political system is veering towards fascism. Some American politicians are responsible for this turn of events. As Attorney General under the George H. W. Bush administration, William Barr supported pardons  for several people who had a hand in the Iran-Contra Affair. This was the strategy that prevented an impeachment process as all those involved were pardoned.

William Barr has enjoyed a rich career as U.S. Attorney General. He currently holds that position and has been instrumental in the successes that Trump has enjoyed in pushing through controversial agenda. Take the case of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The Justice Department was conspicuously absent when it came to ensuring that The White House send records of Kavanaugh’s work with the Bush administration to Congress during the Justice’s confirmation hearings. Barr also interfered in the James Comey trial.

Barr has played a huge role as the fixer for the Republican Party since the Reagan administration. But he is not alone in making an unethical contribution to Justice. Other U.S. Attorneys have been complicit to some of the biggest crimes of the 20th century. These include the Watergate and the Patty Hearst Trial in which F. Lee Bailey was The Defense Attorney. He is best known for representing O.J. Simpson in his 1995 murder trial. The Warren Commission had the Chief Justice as counsel and the infamous Dulles Brothers were notorious Wall Street Attorneys.

The average American believes that s/he is being railroaded when it comes to justice. Notwithstanding, most people seem to enjoy watching a good actor and to these thespians, all the world’s a stage. A change of attitude is needed. We can stop these crimes and hold those responsible to account. We have the ballot box.

Barr is a scoundrel and a Catholic fanatic – he’s the most dangerous A.G. we’ve ever had.
“All the best people” said Trump.
Y’know — if you suppose the OPPOSITE of everything Trump says, you’re on the money.

    Great article, btw.
