Third Party Debate Reaction as Third Party Candidates Comment, Criticize Obama, Romney Debate | Democracy, elections, and voting at Democracy Chronicles

Ballot Access News, the website of reformer and blogger Richard Winger, had the latest news about third party Presidential candidates, and their reaction to the Obama and Romney debates.  Despite the efforts of the media, activists like Richard Winger use the internet to spread information about the smaller parties.  During the recent debate, Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein and candidate for the new Justice Party Rocky Anderson gave their own commentary that was really interesting to watch.  The original Ballot Access News article, Link to Democracy Now Three Hour Version of the Presidential Debate, Including Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson also had a link to the video of the event that you can find embedded below.  Here is a bit of the Ballot Access News article:

“Democracy Now! web page has a link to the “three-hour” presidential debate, which includes Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson. The reason it is twice as long as the Commission on Presidential Debates is that the format paused the CPD debate and gave equal time to the two minor party presidential candidates who attended the Democracy Now! event in a church in Denver…

…One of the disadvantages of both approaches is that, probably, everyone interested in the presidential election prefers to watch the CPD debate live, because it is very newsworthy. Democracy Now! would probably get more viewers if it simply deleted the Obama and Romney portions, and let viewers watch the Anderson and Stein responses, so that the viewer interested in their responses isn’t forced to sit through the Obama-Romney portions all over again.”

Also, another post on Ballot Access News, John Andrews, at Daily Kos, Gives High Praise to Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson Debate Performance, has a link to a review of Stein and Anderson’s performance.  According to the post, “John Andrews, writing for Daily Kos, here gives high praise to Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson for their answers to the presidential debate questions on the evening of October 3.”
