New Year's Resolutions of the Center for Election Science

This year was a banner year for The Center for Election Science. We hired new staff, spoke on the world stage, and led a successful campaign that made Fargo, ND the first city in the US to implement approval voting.

Now we’re ready to empower the rest of the country. Check out how we plan to make 2019 an even better year than 2018:

  • Launch a brand new, polished website complete with advocacy tools so you can advance the cause of better voting methods
  • Hire two new staff members, a Director of Research and Director of Campaigns, to help us advance the field of voting science and successfully coordinate multiple approval voting campaigns
  • Expand our board of directors to help us reach wider networks and achieve our mission
  • Bring approval voting to two cities near Fargo, ND to empower voters and make democracy more representative

With support from electoral reformers like you, we can raise awareness of the severe problems inherent in our current choose-one voting method and bring the power of a better system to more people than ever. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to working with you to achieve these goals in the coming year!

Wishing you a happy new year,
Aaron, Kirsten, and Caitlyn
