Democracy Chronicles

The Democratic Party’s Oligarch Wannabes

by Jack Jones - January 30, 2022

I can’t tolerate the thought of Senator Manchin or Sinema being endorsed or welcomed by the Democratic Party next term or ever again for that matter. They are Republicans in sheep clothing, and I believe that they should be labeled as such. They have done incalculable damage to our nation and the only party of consequence to show a margin of opposition to the oligarchs, without any shame or embarrassment on their part it seems. Much less have they shown any remorse or contrition.

How much campaign money, endorsement commercials and promises were given to these two sellouts? It seems to me it is quite large, appealing and possibly compelling but at what cost to you and I? What are we willing to tolerate until we call foul? We as Americans have lost sooo much already by the coordinated efforts of dirty politicians and Oligarch scum as they not only make our lives harder but more miserable in the process!

The issue doesn’t stop with Manchin and Sinema but these tactics are destroying our country and our collective futures! China is spending lavishly on infrastructure not only in their communities but on infrastructure in foreign countries in which they have trade agreements and do business with. I don’t merely feel that we as a nation are not on the right road but are going backwards! We are receding as a people and a country.

Come on already. I get the point that the rich are greedy and don’t want to pay a red cent in taxes, but do they get to destroy our futures as well, and leave us hopeless and penniless? I don’t know about you, but I’ve had enough! The people in their home states should welcome them back with strong opposition of boos, jeers, and insults! I know there are people who oppose this type of view and behavior, but these perpetrators of destruction need a wakeup call or should at least know that their vile acts are not accepted, much less celebrated. They deserve much more finger pointing as we are literally watching bridges, communities and our country fall apart. Great job sellouts!

I hope that we finally have figured out the detrimental consequences of Neo-Liberal economics and it’s hypocritical and cataclysmic role in our demise. The people at the top despise, rob, and treat us with contempt. Yes it is class warfare layered on top of their greed and insatiability. They believe they are better than you and I and have a license to steal from us because of their inflated perceptions of themselves and the predestination theology preached in their pompous churches! It equates in their minds to a license to steal, given from God almighty and the country that they pretend to serve. Jeez what a great opportunity, to be a thief and have no restrictions or consequences!

Man, that’s a thick Laying on of grace without any commitment. That’s like having a physical relationship with a spouse, significant other and an occasional sex worker to boot, without any sign of complaint, jealousy, correction or to be confronted all the while pretending to be faithful, while we wait for any attention to our needs that never come.

Life is good to these sellouts, they believe that they are forever blessed from the womb to all eternity, while you and I get to flip the bill because we are the unrighteous sinners, and toilers in their minds and in their world! There is only one thing that can help us. The exhausted majority must not believe them and the claims of being “moderate”. Know you are right and continue to follow your heart and the other true Patriots who are caught up in the fight for democracy.

There are limits to everything in life, including tolerance. So, I also can’t tolerate Mahcnin and Sinema. Fortunately, I suspect the Arizona senator will get a strong primary challenge in 2024. The West Virginia Democrat? I don’t know.

Yes, I’m a progressive but I believe we desperately need to call out our inhibitors of progress. I believe in turning the other cheek but at the rate we’re going we won’t have a face left to slap. Thanx Steve for commenting!

I agree with Jack Jones comments.
He gets straight to the point of the hardship of the average American. We need people in our government who actually care & take care of the needs of the downtrodden, instead of robbing the poor to feed the rich This is evident in our economy.
The prices at the gas pump & grocery stores are crippiling to the struggling consumers.

You are right, I think the guys at the top just don’t care. If they did, they wouldn’t be billionaires!
