On Amazon’s Success

On Amazon’s Success

One of the leading reasons for Amazon’s success is the aggressive nature of the business community, and they’re lack of loyalty to the American worker. Workers years ago would try to buy American, have a level of customer loyalty and had a general appreciation of American workers, that is long gone since Nafta, and the Republican and Democratic’s party’s war on labor.

I think people are now apathetic about the success of American companies unless you are employed by them or you have money in the market. Most of the gains made by modern efficiency has gone to the top without much trickling down. Because of the extreme avarice and lack of compassion of Corporate America many could care less if it sinks or swims, because the average American does not get a piece of the pie. Corporate America only cares about profit, and it doesn’t matter who they have to sell out to get it!

That’s a big part of the reason that Trump was elected. The American People are willing to burn the country down, because it’s a mirror reflection of what has happened to their lives, it’s an emotional desperate call for help as well as vengeance. People want somebody to right these wrongs that the average American has endured because of corporate greed. Like a bad marriage, sooner or later all parties involved quit trying!

That’s why many buy from Amazon and don’t care what it’s doing to the retail sector. Why be loyal when you are the only person being loyal? So corporations use the flag, wounded soldiers or any cons they can to act as if they care. How about treating the American worker the way you would like to be treated? Forget it.

This type of behavior is treasonous and will bring about the destruction of this empire. Our government’s constant privatization of all things, especially the military is a warning sign of things to come, when the average person won’t fight to protect his country because of corruption, unjust wars, and impossible living conditions brought on by corporate greed, that brought us to the place of apathy with a concerted mass depression ignited by the greed of the Oligarchs to the demise of everyone!

I think that the success of Amazon is as much about the disillusionment of our society as the great business model that Jeff Bezos put together. So what happened?

Basically Reaganomics is a lie that not only is destroying our country but is ruining our individual lives in the process. The most devastating thing Reagan did besides giving the rich a tax break was to go after unions, which was a witch hunt on the average Americans’ future earnings and prosperity. They claim that we will all get rich as we steadily lose good jobs, wages and health care!

Soon the attack on Social Security will be on once more. So we buy where we can afford to buy and what is the most convenient while we work two jobs and can just afford to pay the bills. It’s a bad mental state that most of America is in, and I’m also concerned about what we will do next to right some of the wrongs!

Yes yes yes. For some known reason (charisma, reminds of grandfather) the right then the whole country idolizes that criminal Reagan and the horror he visited on the USA. He was the 3rd worst president in living memory.
Now only NINE (9) % of Americans are unionized and it is the primary reason the middle class is fucked, and so afraid they’re willing to burn a system down that needs tweaking, needs reform, but not burning down.
Amazon is part of an overall change, and we haven’t gotten it right yet (early days), but hopefully will. The best thing one can do is personally just not use Amazon.
And not be party to the bs that lionizes a ferret of a president RWR.
Great article. Keep up the good work.
